Our 16″ firewood is cut and split and is usually loaded with red, white, and rock oak and other mixed 100% hardwoods.
Now is the time to buy for winter, do not wait until it is frozen. Many people use a stove to save money these days and wood is a great value. So start stocking up with hardwoods right now while supplies are good!!! We sell the best (BTU value wood) on the market – there is no junk wood in our wood!
If you are picking-up firewood or pellets please call us ahead of time at 610-847-5448 to be sure we are available.
When you place an order I will email you a response, usually in the evening of the same day up to 11 pm. We accept cash or check made out to “Barry Helverson” or “Helverson Bros.” We do not accept credit cards. For delivery, please mark the spot where we should dump it. We will call before we come, and you can leave the check on the door if not home. Finding the check on the door lets me know we are at the right house before we dump the load — Thank you!
Not all areas are eligible for free product delivery. However, when a fee is necessary, ours are very small and fair.
We are currently delivering 16-inch stove wood loaded with Pa high quality hardwoods.
According to the PA State Forestry Department, a single cord of quality firewood can replace over 200 gallons of fuel oil! Oil prices are very high right now so burning wood is great way to save money this winter.
Please order your firewood early as fuel costs are rising and the demand for firewood will be rising as well.
So be ready and buy early, as being ready is the best strategy!
